Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) / Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
– Monitor and document patient’s condition and response to treatment.
– Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
– Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
– Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care.
– Well trained in draw blood and administer IV drips.
– Coordinate closely with the lab to address any patient inquiries regarding additional Blood screening.
-Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements:
– Valid APC license
-Diploma in Nursing or Medical Assistant
– Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
– Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
– Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in a specialized area of nursing practice
Experience with basic computer data entry
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
